Student Admission

All in all, there are three ways for the people to be admitted to IHEC. The first stream belongs to producers especially outstanding farmers who can register for the announced courses through the website of IHEC and take part in the courses in due time. These courses are more or less, for advanced farmers and the instructors are faculties of top universities and research institutes. The methods of presenting the courses are different but due to the audience being specific, they are often executed in open field, through tours and leaning by doing. The second stream consists of mostly young participants of national exam who will be accepted after gaining entry level score in the exam. These students seat for a degree from Advanced Diploma to Master of Science in engineering. The third stream, which is called Technical and Vocational Higher Education, is under supervision of UAST[1]. These students are a mixture of young and middle aged people employed or unemployed in different sectors but especially in agriculture sector.
