LIS is the heart of every educational institution especially if it is to success in the realm of higher education. LIS is a very crowded knowledge body of IHEC. A building with more than 400 sq. space for Latin and Farsi book depository, technical services, public services, references and two separate reading halls for ladies and gentlemen, forms the traditional library. Inside the library and in front of it, in the beautiful orchard of the library, students can access internet and local databases through Wi-Fi. The book and non-book materials available to the patrons of the library are as follows in the table:

The advent of digital libraries caused IHEC to take part in consortium for establishing a collaborative DL. The address of IHEC’s DL is: http://library.itvhe.ac.ir  which is accessible to all of the students and trainers of IHEC in and out of the physical place.

There are also other resources that are available to IHEC through the consortium like GIGALIB DL, which is a digital library of full text scholar papers. Gigalib is only available to the residents of IHEC (means that it is IP based).
